CHEMA is an environmental non-profit organization working in Kagera region in the northwestern part of Tanzania. Our main focus is natural resources management and sustainable agriculture to enable local people to manage their natural resources and increase productivity in a sustainable manner.  

The actual project CHEMA PROGRAMME is working on, is the three-year-project “Continuation of the Comprehensive Village Based Natural Resource Management and Sustainable Agriculture (2011-2013)”.
